Stabbursnes Naturhus og Museum is located approximately 15 km north of Lakselv, along E6 towards Nordkapp, and serves as the visitor center for Stabbursdalen National Park. The center conveys the natural and cultural history of Finnmark through exhibitions of animals, fish, birds and trees, and the film Blue Days and Golden Nights. The location by Stabburselva, Porsangerfjorden, Stabbursneset and Stabbursdalen makes it an excellent starting point for nature experiences – particularly birdwatching in the important wetland by the fjord and hiking into the world's northernmost pine forest.
