Reindeer and northern lights in Karasjok
KB-Siida is a family business in Kárášjohka (Karasjok) that brings guests into Sámi reindeer herding culture. The business was started when grandmother Kirsten Berit Gaup began sharing experiences from reindeer herding, and is today carried on in the third generation. Guests can get close to reindeer, hear stories about old traditions around the fire in a heated lavvu, taste traditional Sámi food, and experience the northern lights on the tundra in winter. Contact them for programs, season information, and registration.
