# Skolestien Ceakkunjoaski – A Historic Pearl of a Trail in Tana This marked hiking trail follows the children's old school route from Tarmfjord, Torhop and Smalfjorden all the way to the boarding school at Gárgogeahci in Vestertana. Once thousands of small feet wandered this path – now it's your turn. The hike requires good footwear; the Vestertana side is wet and the trail steep. But the reward awaits: at the highest point you'll find a trail box and fantastic views over Tarmfjorden, Vestertanafjorden and Tanafjorden. Ready for adventure? From the mountain Ádjagiidcohkka you can continue unmarked along the mountain ridge northward to Geassenjárgeahci – Summernesseet (6.5 km extra). Remember leash requirement – sheep graze here.
